HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2001

"Retire and go sailing" have been Mike's activities this year (along with painting the MG and working on our boat). With our great crew, we used the spinnaker for Friday evening casual races, sailed 60 miles to the delta staying there for a week, and did other sailing around the bay.

With Chris, Steve and many other family, we used our cabins at Wilsonia and Cliff Camp a lot this year, working on them and enjoying the mountains.

Marylyn has another young chiropractor sharing her office....and she is thinking of retiring. She also made two trips to Hawaii for seminars and to visit her sister who lives in Honolulu.

The local neighborhood in Los Altos continues to be a construction zone of demolished ranch-style houses replaced by very large two-story houses.

Our main journey this year was a trip to Mexico. Mike sailed 1200 miles in three weeks with new-found friends from SFO to Cabo San Lucas (Baja), along with a partying group of 103 other boats. Marylyn met him there for four days of a truly relaxing vacation.

As Mark Twain said:

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do...
sail away...catch the wind in your sails...explore...dream...discover."
...and we're working on it!

Our very best wishes to you and those around you for your own journeys.
