This has been a year of graduations for us: Chris
received his MS in Computer Science and is now working with
the super-big computers at Livermore Labs in California.
Steve got his MS in Chemistry, has published a paper or two,
and is now going for his PhD. Marylyn "graduated" to
a new computer, her first, and is doing new things
with her chiropractic practice. And Mike "graduated" (retired)
from Hewlett-Packard after 34 years.
We had a great journey this year going sailing in the
Greek Islands, including Turkey and Italy. Mike was there
for three months and around 2000 miles of sailing, and Marylyn
got there for about three weeks. Each day was an adventure
in itself,
and we saw wonderful historic sites at first hand. The
sailing descriptions are just as they were written in the
"Odessy" more than 2000 years ago:
"Bright-eyed Athena sent them a stiff following wind
rippling out of the west, ruffling over the wine-dark sea...
"
Very best wishes to you and those around you for
this new new millenium.
